Get Involved!

Wirral Community First Responders is powered by volunteers who are passionate about saving lives and supporting our community. Whether it’s responding to emergencies, raising awareness through free CPR and defibrillator sessions, or helping behind the scenes, every role makes a difference.

By getting involved, you’ll not only learn valuable lifesaving skills but also become part of a dedicated team working alongside the North West Ambulance Service to provide faster, stronger support in times of need.

There are lots of ways to help — from becoming a Community First Responder, to supporting events, fundraising, or spreading the word. However you choose to take part, you’ll be making a direct impact in keeping our community safer.

How To Get Involved

Fundraising

To support Wirral Community First Responders, there are several creative and impactful ways to fundraise. Consider hosting local events like bake sales, charity runs, or community fairs to engage your neighbors and raise awareness. You can also set online crowdfunding campaigns or virtual challenges that encourage friends and family to contribute. Every donation, no matter how small, helps ensure that our responders have the resources they need to the community effectively.

An example of why we need fundraisers and donations.

A CPR Training Manikin Costs: £250.00

A Defibrillator (AED) Trainer Costs: £520.00

A Public Access Defibrillator Costs: £1,310

A Full CFR Kit: In excess of £3,500

You can contact us for help around fundraising and we will give you as much help as we can!
